Izzie.

I was first contacted by Izzie’s future mother-in-law to enquire about wedding hair, and from our first chat, I knew this was going to be such a special day.

The wedding was set in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside at Lains Barn, one of the most charming rustic venues in the area. The entire bridal party — groomsmen included — got ready in a stunning, spacious house right on the Oxfordshire/Berkshire border. The drive there was a bit of an adventure in itself (poor Lauren’s car suspension may never recover from that winding country road!).

The Bridal Squad

Izzie’s bridal squad consisted of three bridesmaids and both mums — the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom. The morning was warm, calm, and perfectly organised, with everyone relaxed and excited for the day ahead.

While Lauren worked her magic with her signature bouncy blow-dries on both mums, I styled the bridesmaids with boho-inspired twisted buns — soft, textured, and effortlessly elegant.

Izzie’s Bridal Hair

Izzie had tape extensions fitted ahead of the big day to add fullness and movement. For her bridal style, she opted for loose romantic waves paired with a half-up, half-down design, incorporating soft twists and delicate pearls to tie the look together. One of the bridesmaids, with shorter hair, had a similar style for a cohesive, balanced finish across the bridal party.

A Joyful Morning in the Countryside

The morning ran beautifully to schedule (a stylist’s dream!) and was full of laughter, calm energy, and that unmistakable family vibe that makes wedding mornings so special.

When the images came back, they captured that warmth perfectly — you could see the joy and connection in every shot.

Izzie, thank you for being such a relaxed, happy bride. It was a true pleasure to be part of your wedding morning — you and your loved ones made the day unforgettable.
