Frequently asked questions.

How far in advance do I book you for my wedding and what’s the process?

The sooner the better to secure your date! Availability becomes more limited the closer we get to your wedding. To begin, simply complete the contact form with all your details, and we will be in touch within 24–48 hours. You will then receive a formal quote based on the information provided. If you have any additional questions, we’re happy to arrange a call.
If you’d like to go ahead, we will send a non-refundable booking fee link to secure your date in our diary. Once the booking fee is received, consider us your bridal stylists! Please note that no date is secured without the booking fee.

What areas do you cover?

We primarily cover Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, London, and Hertfordshire. If your wedding is outside these areas, please still get in touch— we’re happy to travel further afield. Additional travel costs will apply.

How do I pay my balance?

Your booking fee is paid via a payment link sent directly to you. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your wedding day, at which point we will send another payment link for the outstanding amount.

Do I have to have a preview?

A preview isn’t required to book us, but we highly recommend one for all brides. It gives us the chance to explore different styles and establish what you love most. Many brides also schedule their makeup trial and/or dress fitting on the same day to get a full sense of their desired look.
If you decide not to have a preview, please let us know. Just keep in mind that on the wedding day we work to a set schedule and won’t have time to trial multiple looks.

When should I book my preview?

We typically recommend booking your preview 2–3 months before the wedding. Booking too early may mean you change your mind after finding new inspiration, which could require an additional preview. Booking too late may make it difficult to schedule another trial if needed.
By this stage, most brides have chosen their dress and have a clearer idea of the hairstyle that will complement it.

Where will my preview take place?

All previews are held at our home salon in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. If multiple members of the bridal party would like previews on the same day, we can arrange to come to your home instead. Travel costs will apply.

Do you have a minimum booking requirement?

Unlike many bridal stylists, we do not have a minimum booking requirement. We don’t believe brides should be penalised for having an intimate wedding. Pricing is the same for all party members, as are travel costs.
For parties of 3 or fewer, we do apply a time allocation: 90 minutes for the bride and 60 minutes for each additional person. If timings exceed this, an additional £20 per 30 minutes will be charged to ensure the day runs smoothly. A payment link for any additional time will be sent over after your wedding.
If your wedding party includes 4 or more people, your entire wedding morning will be fully covered.

How can you accommodate a party of 5 or more?

For parties of 5 or more, I bring a trusted assistant—this is included in your quote. Lauren has over 16 years of professional hairdressing experience and is an accomplished stylist based in Buckinghamshire, with extensive experience in event styling.
With both of us working together, we ensure a seamless, well-organised, and enjoyable experience for the whole bridal party.

I booked you for my wedding which has now been cancelled, can I get the booking fee back?

We are truly sorry to hear when a wedding is cancelled. Unfortunately, all booking fees are non-refundable, as the date is reserved exclusively for you and prevents us from accepting other bookings.
If you are rescheduling your wedding and we are available on the new date, we will happily transfer the booking. We will always do our best to accommodate any changes.
